Ayesha Takia to debut on television

We last saw Ayesha Takia giving a good performance in Nagesh Kukunoor's Dor. After that stint she will be beginning her new innings and this time it will be on television. The actor has been signed to anchor the television show 'Sabsey Favourite Kaun' which will be aired on Star Gold.

Fans from across the world will be able to vote for their favourite Bollywood celebs over the phone or the internet. We wish the beautiful actor all the best in her new job.

Favourite Kaun, Star Gold's TV show, goes bigger and ultra-glam, with a new format and new hosts. Accompanying them on the show is the vivacious Ayesha Takia.

Sabsey Favourite Kaun is all set to rock and this time on an international level. The award will cover a host of nations that includes the Middle East, South East Asia, U.S., U.K., Pakistan, Afghanistan, Australia and New Zealand.

This award is completely different from other Bollywood award shows. Here, the winners are decided completely by the fans who not only vote for the winners of every single category, but also vote to shortlist the stars as nominees. And the vote is for popularity, not performance -- winners can win even if they have not had a single release in the last year, but are popular with the masses.

The hosts for this year will be the 'funny trio' -- Ranveer Shourey, Vinay Pathak and Suresh Menon. Accompanying them will be the Sabsey Favourite Kaun International ambassador Ayesha Takia. The first episode goes on air mid November.
